Hearing Conservation

OHS works closely with our off site testing partner to make sure that OSHA standards are met, that each and every STS is reviewed by an Audiologist, and if needed, the employee is retested after a 72 hour noise free period. This is followed by a complete history of noise exposure and a thorough ear, nose and throat examination by OHS providers who are knowledgeable in hearing conservation. Thereafter, hearing tests are conducted annually, at the OHS Facility. OHS, along with our Industrial Hygiene folks and Audiologist can engineer out noise at the work site.
