A native of the Knoxville area, he received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Memorial Hospital and is designated a Consultant in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiologists. He has 24 years of experience in the field of anesthesiology, including interventional non-narcotic pain management. He has been at OHS since 2011 practicing Occupational Medicine. He is a Certified Medical Review Officer (MRO) and also directs our opiate dependence treatment program which is designed to restore patients to a productive work and home life.
